Is there a dinosaur film for younger dcs?

My DS is four and would like a dinosaur DVD. The only film I"ve heard of is Jurassic Park which is presumably too old for him - the dinosaurs would be great but too scary and the plot too much.

Is there anything out there for little ones?

I remember a film from when I was young, think it was called Baby about archeologists that find a baby dino in the rainforest and try to get it back to its mum b4 the poachers get him

What about Dinosaur? It's an animated film and very good. Some scary dinosaurs in it but everyone's happy at the end.

bogie · 19/05/2008 10:05

I love the land before time films

hoxtonchick · 19/05/2008 10:06

walking with dinosaurs documentary was v popular with ds at that age.

Aniyan · 19/05/2008 10:07

Can also highly recommend Dinosaur - ds LOVED it - was about 4 or 5 when we got it for him. Some dramatic and sad moments in it so watch it with him at first - but it's all okay in the end!

Thanks everyone, that's given me something to look into.

Titchy - I"d love to take you up on your offer but I'm not on the CAT service thing so does that mean we can't do it? Do I dare post my email up here?

I'll try and check out Land Before Time and the others too.

Thanks a lot everyone. DS will be very happy.

Definately Land Before Time! I managed to pick up a copy on DVD in Woolies for £4 a few weeks back. Have a look, you and your DC's won't be disappointed.
