You can also see a Psychologist. They can also give you a diagnosis. You might also get a bit more practical advice in terms of managing some of the areas you may find more difficult than others.

You may also have access to specialist Occupational Therpaists. They can be fantistic for practical help/advice. Obviously all this depends on how great the needs of the person are.

And where you are - I'm not sure if all local Health Authorities have this on offer.

Three different sets of disgnostic criteria for Asperger's

DSM and the ICD are what the psychologist will refer to to makes the diagnosis.
