hey yeah you can call your phone company and restrict all witheld numbers as majority of these compnay witheld their numbers when they sales call

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 12/05/2008 16:17

No, I don't want to stop all with held numbers, my DH's work phone with holds his number so he couldn't ring me if I did that, besides what I really want to do is actually ring the company and complain about their bastard staff!

Cor, I am cross! LOL

This is the same company all of the time, all I can catch of the name is Consumer Credit or something, they are doing surveys on, well, consumer credit strangely enough! But just had a cocky little shit who was very rude, and then put the phone down on me. Am so cross there is no number to ring back!

McDreamy · 12/05/2008 16:28

Be really nice next time they call, ask for their name again if you didn't catch it, ask for the persons name before they start the survey and once you have all the information you need - hang up !!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 12/05/2008 16:30

I tried but all I am getting back is the sites that I can fill in more sodding surveys!

Will have to wait for them to ring again, no doubt they will!

lol

Next time they ring, be lovey-dovey and nice band sound potentialy interested, then ask him to spell the company name?

I assume you're on the Telephone Preference Service list already?

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 12/05/2008 16:42

Yep, been on it for a few years, but still they ring.....

I actually didn't mind the first couple of times, it is just their job afterall, but this is getting silly now, and being rude is wayyyyyy below the belt, especially when he puts the phone without giving me a chance to be rude back!! LOL

Ask them for the company name again and then tell them you want to be removed from their telephone list. They have to comply. I've never had problems with these kind of companies afterwards. If they do call again, you can log a complaint.
