Does this mean he is not gonna every be the friendliest rabbit in the world or do i have to keep going and keep handling him and he will get better? He must be about 8/9 months now. any advice would be grateful......Thanx

Starlover - I love Sid's place!! He must be a happy bunny.

We got a man who makes sheds to make ours and we have set it on concrete slabs. Only problem is he made it of wood and chicken wire with the wood on the inside so our rabbits are gradually eating their way out of it! Not sure what we will do next.

megali... mine is wooden on the inside too, but Sid doesn't seem to want to eat it..
have you tried giving them some of those wooden rabbit toys to chew on instead???

Actually, Sid has carpet in his hutch

Carpet - Sid is one lucky bunny!! Can I move in?

We have tried lots of things - a big piece of wood, branches from apple trees. They eat them all! Maybe they're bored and would like more space like Sid. My dh is going to make them a run - when he gets round to it.

yeah they may just be bored... sid does tend to spend a lot of his time chewing on stuff in his run, so i suppose that's what keeps him from eating the hutch! LOL
actually, he chews on the wire of the run more than anything else... still can't figure out why he likes it so much
