NHS IVF in Hertfordshire

Hi! We have been referred by our GP for IVF on the NHS (had tests) as we have been ttc for 3 years and I have PCOS.
The consultant we spoke to warned us that where we are (Hertfordshire) is the hardest place to get IVF on the NHS as they reject most referrals. Although we seem eligible due to my PCOS, I had a natural conception with a miscarriage last year so he wasn't confident they would accept it on those grounds.
My question is - has anyone in Hertfordshire successfully got approved for funding on the NHS with PCOS and/or with a history of a miscarriage?
And if you did, how kong did you have to wait to find out?

Thanks :)

We were male factor, so can't comment on the PCOS or miscarriage, sorry.. are you going through London Colney? We had a nightmare through them and they gave me someone else's blood test results. So if you are, you just have to chase them and be quite demanding.

I'm in St Albans, but I will still make sure we are chasing it up
