I have been doing this as they both have a cooked dinner at lunchtime at school and nursery. But I have just thought maybe I should be giving them a cooked dinner

AQ, we dont have sandwiches with the kids as dh doesnt usually get in until 8ish, so we eat together in candlelight

Mine get sarnies when i can't be arsed to cook.

And I am a bad mother coz the last time Ds1 had jam and Ds2 had chocolate spread.

(DS3 the same as yours Cod, wouldn't touch it)

dd2 wont actually eat sandwiches, will pick at french bread, chew a bit of ham, maybe eat some mini sausgaes, and then have a banana and a yogurt. oh i am bad mum

Have done and have even given a bowl of cereal if I know they have been snacking all day and won't eat a whole dinner!

my ds actually seems to prefer it that way round i.e. cooked lunch then sandwiches or picky bits for tea. nothing wrong with it, loads of good stuff you can include in this kind of tea
