Ds has quite a lot but I've always let dh help him with it.
Have just finished a sea plane and feel like I've given birth.

I feel an addiction coming on!

Impress me with your lego accomplishments .

cor - thats a good price! dh managed the star wars sail barge and I've done the lego city garage. The only thing with these lego kits is if it gets played with it all falls apart.

my son really wants that plane, but he's got so much already that we made him make his own

I made a huge fairytale castle for my little sister years ago. My parents kept it for years and almost had it sealed and varnished.
My sister just wanted to break it up and make something else.

It's hard not to be precious with it,he's already sticking extra stuff all over it fgs!

I got a load of my old Lego/Technic off my parents and younger cousins. Got it out, sorted through it, and ended up making a small car with a cutaway bonnet and moving V6 engine.

DS can have it on loan, it's still mine really...

jingleyjen · 06/05/2008 19:55

Dh wants you to know that he made a lego tower crane.
3ft long boom 2 feet tall with automatic counterweight under remote control.
he designed it using lego technic bits and pieces from ebay.

kaz33 · 06/05/2008 19:57

My 6 year old is a lego fiend - he knocks off this creator.lego.com/en-us/Products/Structures/4996.aspx without any help, recommended for 8+ [proud mummy]

brimfull · 06/05/2008 22:15

wow-impressed with crane Mr jinglejen-big gold star for you
Kaz-great for a 6 yr old, must try and let ds do some instead of taking over

Ds (aged 7) is a big Lego fan. He makes up the sets according to the instructions, then takes them apart and "modifies" them!

He would love the Police seaplane!
