Hello, I need to register the birth of my newborn however my passport and driving license are still in my maiden name as I have not changed them yet. Will I be able to use these as identification but take my marriage certificate to prove my new surname? Or will this not be possible?

Won't the marriage cert on its own do?

I didnt have to provide ID. Just needed the slip they give you from hospital. I also only had ID in maiden name but no one questioned it tbh.

I did not have any issue registering the birth of my children without any ID. I did not have any ID in my married name when I had my first

Oh that’s great, thanks all!
