So what impact will the London Mayor election results have on me as a non-Londoner?

Not really being taken much of an interest in Boris vs Ken so far.

However have been reading today about how Boris has been sacked from several positions for lieing and dubious activities. So if he is a bit "dodgy" and continues to be "dodgy" and a bit of a buffoon as London Mayor - is it likely to affect me?

Honestly there is so much press coverage I'm beginning to feel that Mayor is more important then PM!

fk all really
but prob will affect anyone who lives or works in London (I'm the latter).

Do we know who got in yet? Please tell me it wasn't Boris

not much

but it does have a huge bearing on national politics I think - Labour have lost a great deal of seats today. The mood of it all

It was more a vote to get rid of Ken than a vote for Boris I think. Not great choices

I think it'll affect you sporadically - for instance if you need to drive into London through the congestion charge etc but not in every day-to-day life, but then that would have been the same no matter who got in.

IF Boris makes a complete fckup it may put people off voting Tory in the next election, so that would affect you.
