Housing list - can my friend see my referral?

I have made a referral to join the housing waiting list. My daughter goes to nursery and she is friends with another girl that goes there. I have become friends with her mother. She works for the council, she receives complaints in the local area. I have made an application to join the house register as I am in an emotional abusive situation which is escalating. Can she see my housing application because I don't want anyone to know.

Not unless she works for the housing and they're often managed centrally by a property pool type group
That plan is going to be super super slow though you need a new plan if you are trying to leave an abusive relationship as even if you were homeless you would wait 6 to 12 months

Councils usually have 1000s of employees, so unless she works for the specific part of the housing department that deals with housing applications they won't find out.

I work in my local council in a specific housing department, but not to do with the council housing register. While I have access to the housing register I don't see every application on there and wouldn't think of searching it for anyone I might know. I only go on and look for information that's relevant to my job.
I'm sure your friend is the same.
