Hi everyone.
FTM here. My 9 week old has always had mucousy poos since she was born. Her meconium was also quite slimy. She is exclusively breastfed and suffered alot from colic and trapped wind since birth and now reflux. I have been giving her probiotics which have helped. Her poos are yellow and seedy but very mucousy. GP suggested I cut out dairy as it could be CMPA. I've cut out dairy for almost 3 weeks however her poos are getting worse. Poo is now soupy and mucousy as opposed to just stringy. Has anyone had the same experience? Just thinking maybe she doesn't have a milk protein allergy and it's just her norm to have stringy poops? I've attached an image of her poo after I've stopped dairy (first image) and before (seond image). Thank you in advance!
