Can anyone in Cornwall help us to find another house to rent?

Not sure where to post this - so have done it in two areas.
We are looking for a house to rent within 20 minutes drive of Newquay / Perranporth / Rejerrah.
We need three bedrooms and a garden (hopefully some parking space or garage). We have a dog, cat and a rabbit - the pets are quite old and are very well housetrained (the dog is only allowed in the kitchen). If potential landlords are concerned about the animals, they are welcome to come and see where we are at the moment in Camborne). My husband works full time and we want to be closer to his place of work - but we are subsidised with Housing benefit (we now get just under £30 a month towards our rent - we pay the rest). Our oldest is 18 and currently working full time (but returning to college and part time work in Sept). We also have a 5 year old. We can't seem to find anyone who accepts HB or pets. Can anyone help?

Legally landlords don't have to be told if you're receiving any housing benefit as it can be paid direct to you, and there is now a box to tick on the application form if you don't want the landlord to be contacted. If your husband can get a work reference it shouldn't be a problem.

The problem done here is that 99% of private lendlords let through agencies and they do earnigns checks, etc. We are very lucky to have a house at the moment that is only £625 a month, I haven't found another for under £850 and have been searcning for weeks/months.

Corcoran lettings in Camborne (used to be IPM) will take housing benefit applicants providing they have a guarantor.

My sister rents through them and she is single parent with small child and they found her somewhere and I believe they will ask landlords about taking pets - my sister had stick insects lol

Hi Joash - they do rent in other areas but not sure how far your direction they do have anything (my sister was offered all sorts!)
