A QUESTION FOR THOSE FAMILIAR WITH THE USA TO UK POSTAL SERVICE

I'm getting something delivered from the USA, and I'm wondering whether or not to upgrade the delivery from USPS "Priority Mail" (6-10 days) to USPS Global Express (5 days).

The retailer I'm buying from seem to think that the Global Express service is somewhat unreliable, and that even if I pay the extra $50-60 dollars it might still take more than a week.

Have you found this to be true? (If so, I'll need to get the package delivered to a different address...long story).

Is it very big and/or heavy? airmail is usually pretty quick.

Haven't used either of the 2 special services though so I'm no help, sorry!

Thanks Wendy - it's two mei-tais (soft strcutured baby carriers) so it shouldn't be very heavy.

I've never used global express.
First class international takes about 3 weeks, priority takes about 8 days ime.

Never had anything go astray, and I've purchased stuff probably 50-60 times.
