RSV vaccine for baby

Hello,
Hoping for some advice. I understand in the UK babies are not due to receive the RSV vaccine. Our little one is 11 months and has been ill many times since starting nursery 3 months ago. I hate seeing him sick and he's currently sleeping with his second virus in 10 days. Most of the fevers have been okay but he has been admitted to hospital once at 6months with vomiting which was awful.
Seems in the US he would have had it last autumn. Has anyone got any experience on accessing this for their baby? A private paediatrician we saw can offer flu and varicella on top of the usual NHS schedule.
Thanks in advance

My baby was in the 3rd stage HARMONIE trial for this vaccine in early 2023 when they were 2 weeks old, so I’ve kept an eye on it. I has been approved in the U.K. and I think they’re going to start vaccinating pregnant women to protect babies from birth, but I don’t think it’s available even privately at the moment. I believe it was decided it should be given before the baby has been through an RSV season so it would be too late for your baby to have it now, but interested to know if anyone knows differently
