During my free times where I have nothing to do and I am alone, I used to scroll thro Facebook and the videos I would come across were very interesting and would always catch my attention. I didn't just scroll constantly, I actually watched the videos because they would be genuinely entertaining or would talk about interesting realistic topics and wholesome stuff. a lot of times I would even run into really interesting documentaries. Overall there use to be different varieties of videos for different audiences.
But nowadays Facebook reels have been getting boring and repetitive. Whenever I open my Facebook app and scroll thro the videos, it would be the same types of pointless short clips.
For examples:
One moment I keep running into dog or cat videos for awhile.
Other times I would keep coming across videos of junky teenagers in their shit box Honda civics or their base BMW 320Ds or their TDI VWs or Audis acting stupid and endangering lives on public roads just for likes and views.
Other times I come across endless compilations of people eating greasy junk food infront of their cameras such as nikocado avocado ECT.
And then the prank videos. I would keep coming across videos of people from third world countries pranking street dogs by installing stuffed lions behind them and then the street dogs would get scared when they turn around.
Even when I try to block these videos and click on "see less" I keep running into them.
It is just me or Facebook is getting kind of lame ?
