Anyone have an i pod nano? And can help me please?

We have just got one and cannot seem to see how to transfer cd's to it.

We went on to i tunes site and that didnt seem to help much.

We have a window for i tunes and when we go on it, nothing happens.

Any advice what to do when you buy it??

Did you register it?

1st of all, do you know what an USB cable is?

when you insert the cd you should see a box come up with options. select import using itunes then you might have to select import cd again once in itunes itself. it should then transfer the tracks to your itunes library

ok so you can only transfer music from your itunes music library
I've got a mac so it may be a little different
but when I put a CD in the disc drive itunes automatically opens and ask me if I want to import the CD into itunes
you need to say yes and the disc will then be copied into itunes (takes a few minutes)
when you connect your ipod to your computer itunes should also automatically open
you should be able to see your ipod in the left hand panel of the itunes window
you can drag and drop tracks from your music library straight into your ipod
at least this is the way I do it! You can also set it up to sync automatically ie transfer everything in your music library when your ipod is connected
