Hi i have debts recieved this message and pancking is it real or fake thanks

More context required- what is the debt they are pursuing?

Don’t let them in and don’t talk to them.

Go to citizens or debt advice.

Don’t let people bully you in your own home.

Go and sit in A&E or your Drs on that day and say you were having anxiety and panic attack. Evidence of the negative impact on your health for future management of these circumstances will help.

Get professional advice.

It doesnt say the debt on there that is all the info on the message

I went citzen advice and they couldnt help me and i got debt advice i dont know who the debt is too im pancking i live at home with my parents so dont want them to come

If you have no debt might be a SCAM.

Check your credit file any debt will be on there especially if court proceedings.

Make sure your parents don’t answer the door.

Get them to speak out of the window that you don’t own anything in the house.

Do not let them in.

I have receieved no letters from enforcement agency i cjecked my credit file snd no court were coming up

Looks fishy. Various spelling/grammar errors for starters. Also, no name of the firm and just the agent's first name. Debt collector and bailiff scams are rife and I'd bet this is exactly that.

Its a text mesdage and says DCUK no number or anything

Im just worried im not sure if debt collecters send messages or what they look like i know theres scam going round citxen advice said they never heard of them

I am behind on debts i have had breathing space on

It is probably a scam but even it is real you do not want to respond or engage in any way.

Do not reply.

Do not let them in.

Acknowledging the debt is proof that you owe them money.

Or it’s a scam and they turn up and take your stuff - some bloke in a uniform and a van could clear your property fairly quickly.

There no option to reply can they come to my house if they are a scam

Please call StepChange to help with you debts, or go back to Citizens Advice. Then when you know it’s all on a payment plan to be dealt with you won’t need to panic.

It's a bit odd that there's no ref no or phone number on it - you'd expect them to be on it. At the top beside the 'DCUK' there's an arrow to a previous page is there anything before this message
