Calling all parents of four year olds- can you help a poor wee student out?

(Sorry for posting in multiple topics- really want to get as many replies as possible and twig reminded me that not everyone goes the active conversations route)

Well I have 3 questions for all parents of four year olds who care to reply...

And they are:

1. Is your 4 year old male or female?

2. Does your four year old have:
   a) ONE best friend
   b) several or more good friends
   c) other

If you answered a) to question 2

3. Is your child's best friend the same or different to your child in terms of: a) gender b) race c) interests

one best friend, but also a circle of good friends (sorry!)

Best friend is same gender/race, but different interests I think (apart from running around like maniacs being noisy - typical small boy stuff)

girl, one best friend who is a boy,same race but very different disposition.

2 two best friends. One girl, one boy, both totally opposite in character ie they're loud and confident, he's not!

I have one he has loads of admireres for some reason

Thank you so much everyone. I've really enjoyed reading all your answers and thinking about how your four year olds fit with some of the theory I'm studying for this essay. I'm going to give it till 10pm then collate all the info on here, so if anyone else wants to add their four year old's profile before ten that would be great. I'm afraid some more bumping may occur before then!

Male, several friends, my ds1 is only (sadly interested in being friendly with boys at school. They are mixed race and on the whole the more confident and boysterious boys are his choice of playmates.
