Hello, I had a medical abortion a few weeks ago. I took my tablets on the 2nd of June so that’s roughly 4 weeks ago tomorrow. Last week which would have been 3 weeks after taking the tablet I was on the toilet and a bit constipated so was straining to go the toilet and I started getting some really bad lower abdominal pains and cramps. They became really intense to the point I was bent over on the floor. This continued for an hour or so and was uncomfortable through the night when sleeping. When I got up in the morning I felt a gush of blood and again was tender on my cervical area. The blood eased off but for the next 3 days I had cervical pain, walking was hurting and my lower back was aching. I went to my gp who called the hospital and they said was my pregnancy test negative which it was so they said to prescribe antibiotics incase it was an infection. I’d had no smelly discharge or anything so I didn’t think it could be that. Anyway I’ve been on my antibiotics for 3 days and bleeding has been on and off, still getting pain come and go and my back is aching.
has anyone else had anything similar? Because I’m thinking the worst at the minute and just wish it would stop
