Is everything okay?

You seem a little out of sorts - very down on yourself - lately?

I know beetroot, it is a failure on my behalf i couldn't prove everyone right.

Utter tripe, neither do i, tbh it's a banana and a frube and a bloody good thankyou mum in this house

uttertripe · 09/04/2008 00:46

soapy, ill see your whiney 3yo and raise you a screaming 2 and 3 and 4yo in trio/competition... hah. you know you lose.

loser!

[joke - i like you really]

frubes eh? sounds like a balanced diet to me...

fairyfly · 09/04/2008 00:52

I'll see you both, two husbands (i.e. as seven and a nine year old) that constantly say..... are you ok mum, are you calm, do you want a hug or a massage.... I said to them before,,,,,,,, i really need to go to the shop for milk but i don't think its a good idea not taking you two, it would be really bad to leave you..... they looked up( as only husbands can) and said, just don't forget your keys and handbag

I didn't go btw

soapbox · 09/04/2008 00:55

Ha! HA! I've had! two husbands - but not at the same time!

That is quite sweet FF, but a bit bittersweet IYKWIM!

my 4yo is starting to say stuff like that ff.

hmmmmm

i lose on husbands. ive had none. not-a-one.

i did walk away from an engagement. well, 2 actually. but hey, i was on recreational drugs when i agreed to them, so was no doubt par for the course.

fairyfly · 09/04/2008 01:00

Oh soapbox, it is bittersweet as i am so happy with my two little men, they know that. They are soooo soo fab, my eldest one even says..... next boyfriend you have should be a man and not a little boy.

I do know that for him to say that isn't great, i don't want him to look after me and be the pathetic mummy who had a child that took over,,,,, so i say...... yes baby, but it's time for your bed soon and mummy will be fine but you wont be if you dont sleep xx

uttertripe · 09/04/2008 01:04

aw ff, they'll make fabulous partners one day.

fairyfly · 09/04/2008 01:08

I hope so uttertripe, as i bring them up to survive in relationships, i want them to care an do there bit.

but god forbid the slapper that walks over the threshold in ten years time,,,,, hehe

I can now see why mils are such hard work ;)
