the state of your hair

do you have loads of little wispy bits of hair that stick up? I do. It looks like it could be broken off hair or split eneds i don't know?
My hair is long and i have been having it trimmed every 4 weeks. Last week it got trimmed and i can still find lots of hairs that have split into 2 or three bits.
I'm even beginning to think the hairdresser is using crap scissors or something coz i'm sure i didn't have this when i never used to bother getting it cut!
Anyone else have this prob or have any input?

How recently did you have a baby snowyduck? Because you probably lost a fair bit in the months after, and what you are talking about is new growth.
