A friend of mine is a probation officer. On Friday night she told me about an horrific domestic violence case she's just dealt with and now its haunting me and I can't get it out my mind
I am posting it here in an attempt to get it out of my mind and if anyone has any ideas on how to deal with the images please post. I know I'm being totally pathetic but for some reason its haunting me.

The husband tied up his wife and beat her unconscious. When she came round he told her she had to choose between him killing the dog, the pet rat or herself. Se chose the rat and he went and got the rat and a knife and chopped off the rats head in front of her while she was still tied up. Then he boiled up sugar in water and poured it all over her and finally left the house. She was found a couple of hours later by neighbours covered in blood, scalds and unconscious.
My friend said the man kept on that his wife deserved it.
