They are doing a production of High School Musical but i've never been there before and wondered what the seating was like.

are they?? when??

SheikYerbouti · 04/04/2008 18:57

I did about 100 years ago.

I couldn't even tell you where it is, and I grew up in Birmingham

does this help??

June and July.

It's being done by the youth theatre group and it's only £12.50 a ticket.

The Hippodrome and the Alex are also doing it, but the hip are sold out and they Alex tickets are £32 for good seats. I saw the snow queen at the Alex and it was so bad I swore I'd never see anything there again as it was a total rip off.

Have booked, for July 5th matinee.

Ah ha!

Went to see a production of Faust there probably nigh on 15 years ago. The seating is quite "flat" IYSWIM, but steep, so visibility is good.

It's not massive by any means.

WigWamBam · 04/04/2008 18:59

It's quite small, rows are raked so the view is good from all seats, leg room is OK and the seats are reasonably sized.

CrackerOfNuts · 04/04/2008 19:00

Ta emma. Have got row H so that should be ok.

Thanks wwb. I don't expect it to be a top notch performance for £12 but just didn't want to get ripped off again like at the Alex.

Hopefully the girls will like it anyway.

I was going to take boys to see it at the Hippodrome but decided against it at the last minute. cant justify spending so much for what would have been crap seats. Might take ds2 to this one for his bday (jul 1st)

CrackerOfNuts · 04/04/2008 19:09

I am not taking Ds. I did consider it briefly, but then thought that seeing as it won't have a Dalek, Spiderman or Darth Vader in it, I'd be on to a loser.

I have no reason for taking the girls really, other than that I just want to LOL.

Must try and find something to take Ds to as the girls go to far more than him.

Mind you, we are all booked in for Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe at xmas.
