My nephew (3) was happily playing with his ?gitler? (glitter) the other day. Reminds me of when my much younger brother was about 4 and used to be scared of the ?bepleece? (police) and used to love cars which had 2 ?insaust? pipes (exhausts).

Me:", can you say onomatopoeia?"
DD1:"No mummy, I can't say onomatopoeia!"
Me:"Okay then ".

Ds associates guitars with church, so when he was given a toy guitar it was called God. The phrase, 'God's been thrown down the stairs again' was commonly heard in our house for a week or two. After a while, God was replaced by Gareth (church guitar player) and now finally, at the grand age of 2, he can say guitar.
