This is no help at all but my teeth are on edge just looking at the picture! Can’t bear eating with gold cutlery!

AnotherCountryMummy · 25/04/2024 12:35

I'd think cake forks/a dessert set, especially as that looks like a cake slice along the top. Can you show us what size they are? Maybe a photo with one of the forks on your palm?

merights · 25/04/2024 12:49

Attached is a picture of some of the cutleries next to a normal everyday fork. I hope this picture helps.

What type of spoon and knife is that? What are they called?

I'd guess fish knife and fork (based on the shape of the knife blade and three tine fork) soup spoon (right) and dessert spoon.

Apparently mango eaten from a gold spoon is incredible!

Jasmin1971 · 25/04/2024 15:59

Dessert set.

Smartiepants79 · 25/04/2024 16:02

looks like a dessert set to me.
Cake slice, cake forks. Butter knife and jam spoon maybe. Dessert spoons.

Smartiepants79 · 25/04/2024 16:04

Google shows them to be a Japanese company.

Jitterybugs · 25/04/2024 16:08

Another vote for a dessert set .

Edited

I didn't look at the picture of the full set properly. If there's only 1 knife it's unlikely to be fish cutlery! I echo the dessert set.

Not fish Knife and forks
They are dessert cutlery

CountingCrones · 25/04/2024 16:16

Agree it's dessert cutlery - we've got some kicking about somewhere.

AdaColeman · 25/04/2024 16:19

Another vote for dessert set. Cake slice/server, lovely cake forks, and dessert spoons.
I think the round spoon is probably for serving cream. The knife could be a fruit knife?

It's very pretty, especially with the inlaid handles.

fedupandstuck · 25/04/2024 16:22

It's the same as this set, I think:

I did not know that it was meant to be cutleries I thought it was just cutlery. IE.

"What kind of cutlery is this?"

Mind blown.

JustGotToKeepOnKeepingOn · 25/04/2024 18:16

I've never heard of 'cutleries' either... just googled it. It's still not clear but bordering on cutlery being used for the singular or plural. So I'm going to stick with cutlery.

merights · 25/04/2024 23:44

@Smartiepants79 wow, a Japanese company?

I was thinking of selling but perhaps I keep them for myself

Dessert canteen

You can find similar items for sale on eBay.
for the most part they don’t appear to be worth a lot of money.
