Hi all!
So I've had an ongoing issue with thrush before my period and have used canesten pessaries a few times recently. (My GP is aware and I'm awaiting more tests and a gynae appointment.) Each time, the pessaries have delayed my period. I know this isn't uncommon and haven't worried about it before. However, I feel like the delay is much longer this time. I was due on on the 1st of April. I used the pessary on the 27th of March and still haven't come on. Has clotrimazole delayed anyone else's period for this long?
Just to add a bit of extra info, I suspect I'm perimenopausal, so I guess that could also account for a late period. However, I'm still usually regular, within a day or 2 of the predicted start date. I supposedly ovulated around the 18th and, as far as I can remember, did have sex on the 16th. I also had some spotting around around the 23rd/24th/25th (although this isn't unheard of for me with thrush!) So of course there's always that too... 😬
Opinions and experiences please? 🙃
