I went to see The Eagles last night night and....

They were absolutely FAB! I thought I'd know Hotel California and Life in the Fast Lane and that'd be it, but there's loads of songs I didn't even know were The Eagles - Lying Eyes, Desperados....in fact i didn't know WHO the Eagles were, didn't know Jow Walsh was one (he sang Life's Been Good, one of my favs) and I didn't know Don Henley played the Drums. The new album sounds good too, I think I'll download that.

For one of the druggiest bands of the 70's tho, they looked good (actually looked like bank managers in their suits) and they came on at 7.45 and apart from one 15 minute break, went on until 10.45!!! 3 Hours!

And I love the O2, so easy to get to and out of. And loads of great food-choices too!

All in all, a fab night. I'm happy to share

Yep they did boys of summer - they seemed to do a few 'solos' each as well as the Eagles stuff proper. Loads of good tracks, stuff I didn't know I knew IYSWIM.

I'm just amazed they are still standing, let alone doing 3 hours of a night.

And Joe Walsh is a bit of a bad-boy! I like that! And he's the best guitarist too.

DH saw them last night. He said they were fantastic, just such brilliant musicians.
