Dying hair when pregnant?

I don't dye my hair so didnt have this question last time I was pregnant.

However the greys are coming in and I wonder whether I can put brown dye over them at a salon or not? Google is inconclusive.

I used non toxic ones. They don't last as well but for the sake of less than 9 months are fine

What colour is your hair?

I used non toxic only which was a nightmare in itself
