Won bidding on Locata - what happens now?

Hi everyone,

Im on band B and bidded on a new build property. When it ended, I was placed 6-10 whilst shortlisting. When I logged onto locata on the Friday it changed to being 1-5 and states “offered to you”. Since then I have not been contacted regarding this property or even been sent any confirmation email for being well placed and I am still able to bid on other properties. But my status says “offered”.

Does anyone know why it suddenly changed from 6-10 to now being offered to me and if I will be contacted regarding a viewing? And does this also mean I am number 1 for this property and when can I expect to be contacted for a viewing to be arranged? Also I am not in rent arrears so I really hope this is good news.

Yes I was contacted a couple of days ago. I’ve been scheduled for a viewing. Don’t worry they will be in contact soon. If you have bidded on a new build it can take a while for them to get back to everyone quickly.

but there wasn’t anybody else at the viewing, and it’s been offered to you. Have you heard back yet?

I think it’s because other people didn’t fit the requirements for the property. As the property I bidded on was prioritised for medically assessed applicants x

Hello. I've had a message from locata move and It just says I've been shortlisted, but ive not bidded on a property. I received an email that says someone has been trying to get a hold of me but I'm confused as to where and how. Can someone shed some light.
