Annual travel insurance - a question

I appreciate that the best place to get this answer is from our actual insurer but because DH has the policy details at work (😒), I can't do that right now so hoping someone here will know.

We have annual travel insurance.

Do we need to advise the insurer of any medical issue that has arisen since the policy was renewed?

TIA

Yes it's valid on how your health was when you took it out.
I have a policy through my bank account and had to pay an additional premium to get a new medical condition covered. I also discovered there are some things they wont cover

Yes you do! I get regular reminders from my insurer to do so.
