Thats not saying i don't have anything to do, cos i do, washing, cleaning etc, but am having a can't be arsed day and am bored.

Anyone else ??

Awh CC don't you think the run up to Xmas is always like this? I am waiting for DH to come home as he is off tonight for a week, he will probably wander in at some ungodly hour and I want to go to Waitrose!! Sending you Hugs and a G & T xxxx Love Minstrel

Then I've got the stress of ds's 7th Birthday on the 15th. Still haven't booked his party as have been trying to talk him out of it. His having none of it . Should set us back about £150

Minstrel - I read that as NIPPLES are out. Yes I am bored bored bored too. It's that school holiday thing. Don't get up till past 9 o'clock (I know I shouldn't complain - now the kids are older they bring themselves down and plonk in front of playstation), then come down, have v. lazy slow breakfast, consider walking the dog at some point, look around at messy home and have absolutely NO motivation at all! I actually feel more energetic when I'm up at 7 during school time, get lots done before popping off to school and work. I'm even BORED with my Christmas nickname now and want to change it back.

Dog-LOL. I have ds (1) and dd (6), I usually take dd to school then go round for my friend who has a ds same age as mine then we go to toddler group, she gets up at 7pm and I could never understand why she was never ready at 9.10am but now its the holidays I can understand why!! Things def are more organised on a schoolday...

Yes i agree, although i hate getting up at 6.30 i always have more energy and motivation.
Got up at 8 today and feel crap.

Ive got 2 tax returns to complete, and several word macros to write before tomorrow evening. Or would someone like to collect my turkey for me tomorrow.

Me too. We are having prawn cocktail, then chicken and all the trimmings and ... the ultimate Gromit (of Wallace & Gromit) shortbread biscuit cake from Waitrose, dh & I pretend its for dd but we love it too..... Oh and gallons and gallons of DIET COKE!!! God we know how to live don't we!!
