Light a Candle on Chrismas Eve - Please

I am sure even if you have not read them you are aware of the 'lost Mother's' threads.

I would like to ask you all to pledge to light a candle this Christmas eve, not just for the 'Lost Mothers' but for all Parents and children who are seperated, for whatever reason this Christmas.

Christmas is a time for families and the following is a poem/prayer written by a falsely accused mother;

I used to cover you with the blankets,
and tuck you up all warm.
I could keep you safe from the things
that go bump in the night
with a mere hug and a kiss goodnight.

We cannot be together at this time
so wanted you to know
that no matter where you are,
my heart is there with you
and every night, I cover you with a prayer,
to keep you safe and warm

Please help me light up the country with love for our children.
Bunglie XX

I am asking friends to light a candle this Christmas and say a little prayer or spare a thought for all chidren and parents who are seperated at this time of year.
If you would like to do this the candles are being lit on Christmas eve, let us see if we can light the country with hope and love for our 'lost' children.
The other objective is to try and educate just one person as to what MSbP is and what has been happening.
I wish you all seasons greetings, and I hope that you can all have the best Christmas that you are able. Let us hope and pay that 2005 brings about the changes in the law that we all want.
Love, Peace and Hope to all

Of course I will. You have my prayers, tears, hugs and kisses. What else do you need done. Shall I write to Ms Harman as well? In fact I will anyway. Thank you for bringing this into the light. I will encourage everyone I know if I have to write the letters myself.

After reading about all the 'disagreements' in the last 24 hours I am a bit upset.
Please it is Christmas.
It is a time of peace and goodwill unto all

You have all made my Christmas special and I wish you all a Merry Christmas....please let us have a wonderful New Year.

I don't care what you think of me, I love you all and I know that you have saved my sanity this year and there is a place for Mnet in this world, but not for nastyness, so please be nice to everyone this Christmas. The season of Forgivivness

I don't care if you are nasty about me, I love you all.

Bunglie, not sure what the disagreements are, but you have, as always, my complete admiration.

Well said, Bunglie.

Will light a candle too. xxx

turquey · 23/12/2004 14:11

Bunglie I have read much of your thread. I don't post on them as I don't feel I have anything constructive to offer, but I do offer my heartfelt admiration, respect, and very best wishes to you, not just now at christmas but always.
I will certainly light a candle.

Sonnet · 23/12/2004 14:15

I will light candles at daybreak on Christams Eve and keep them burning all day.
Words are inadequate to say how I feel
You are in my thoughts this Christmas time.
