How long for MP or their staff to respond

How long would you say is reasonable to wait for an MP'S or their staff's response to an email?

I would send a chasing email after 2 weeks. Unless it's urgent, in which case I would call after a few days.

I had a meeting with my MP a few months ago, and spoken to someone there too, but then heard nothing. I know my MP / staff is working on my case , but it's been a while since any communication from them. Just don't want to seem nagging or annoying

If it's been a few months...it's definitely reasonable to email and ask for an update.
Hopefully they'll have done something and be waiting on developments...but definitely no harm in chasing it up.
I hope you manage to get it sorted.
