DS#1's new headteacher has said she will keep any eye out for him.

My parents' neighbour works in a school in our town. She happens to know the head of the secondary school that DS#1 is going to in September. Mum happened to mention that DS was going to this school. And neighbour happened to mention this to the head. So head has said that as there are only 3 in the intake from our primary, she will keep a special eye out for DS to make sure he doesn't get overwhelmed.

I think that sounds lovely. But I have a feeling that DS isn't going to think so. Waddya reckon ? Shall I tell him what she said or not?

Not.

No don't mention it - unless he has behaviour problems and you want to use it as a threat! I'm sure the head will keep an eye on him discreetly..

Don't tell him!
He'll soon realise when she tails him for the first couple of weeks!

Hmmm.... I thought so. I'll keep it in reserve...
