So off we went to blackpool, 1.5 hours on the train, walked all the way up to the fair with DS1 walking an dmoaning the whole way (hes 3) only to find it was closed!

All the piers were closed and only 'coral island' was open so we spent the day in an arcade basically.

It was OK, but not the day out we had planned really.

Ah well.
My fault I suppose!

I have taken to phoning places neurotically now in case they decide to shut for the day

It was closed for winter season! Opens today! Typical.

Plus DH was ill yesterday and was begging to leave it till tomorrow (today) and I dragged him out of bed!

Should have listened to him.

Was ds1 ok, mine would of had huge tantum

He was OK yea, he justy wanted to go back to the arcade and sit in the big cars, lol.

It was me that wanted to go to the pleasure beach really! We used to go when we were little and I tok DS1 a few years back, but he couldn't go on the small rides becasue he couldn't walk yet (they said).

So last year DH and I went back by ourselves.

I was really excited becasue both of them can walk now(DS 1 &2) and I wanted to take them on Noahs ark and the Alice in Wonderland ride!

Only been waiting 2 years to take DS on it now! pmsl
