Where are you? We are booked for friday and sunday but i think free for saturday. We are in birmingham if thats any use?

Where are you? And does the venue have its own sound system or did you book a DJ with his own gear?

OK, so if the venue has its own sound system, get friends to bring compilations, grab some of your parents' fave songs on CD and deputise someone to be in charge of the music. At a party like this, people won't mind too much if it isn't a perfect Fat-BOy-Slim type smooth set all night.

Oh dear, SGK. Unfortunately I can't help (though I DJ, don't have my own sound system) other than to say: do you know any teens with decent speakers who might be able to lend them to you? It could be worth having a word with the hall as well so at least you can get some sort of back-up plan in place - because it is, of course, possible that your booked bloke will just turn up as he is supposed to.
