I went to Toddler Group for the 1st time today and....

It was their Christmas party and dd won the top prize in the draw - a Leappad learning table;

I got asked to answer some research on dd's speech and given a £5.00 Boots voucher in return;

Got a certificate for being the magician's assistant ;

and everyone was really nice.

So there is some benefit to being off with stress!

(My sister usually takes dd to Toddler Group and I was allowed to go today)

I almost thought that you were going to say that it was dd's first time there too (at which case I would probably be thinking "how unfair", in the same way as when I look at some of the Mumsnet comp winners!)

No, Ladymuck, my lovely sister who childminds or me has been taking her for the last two years. Feel guilty that we have next year'sChristmas pressie sorted this early but sis did insist we keep it, but then she's lovely.
