Cost of cars - what's your experience?

Hi!

I'm currently looking for a used car and due to the cost of everything at the moment, I'm being extra cautious about which car I buy.

I'm thinking of an Audi A1, Peugot 308 or Renault Megane.

Does anyone drive any of these? What are the kind of running and maintenance costs youhave to fork out for (my current VW Polo has had to have about £900 spent on it so far this year as it's so old but tax and insurance are low).

With any car, it will depend on the age of the car, and your mileage and type of driving.
One of the biggest cost is often the insurance, and of course that too, depends on your own personal circumstances.
