Has anyone else officially changed their baby's name or wanted to?

I did a while ago, swapped her original forenames over, dd was 11 months old, and am so glad I did! Interested to know whether any other mners habour similar feelings, secretly or otherwise!

Dh was adamant he didn't want to give ds3 my favourite name so it didn't even make his middle name. So annoying as I was really clear about this being the one name I wanted to give him. The name he was given took real effort to find a compromise that we both liked.

2 years later dh decided he did like it after all. I think there is a deadline with registry office as to when it can be done and I remember looking in to it and it was too late.

I still like ds3's name - it's just that it wasn't my top choice.

Will have to have a ds4
