Because they never follow the instructions and do everything in the wrong order and then find a key bolt that should have been inserted in hole 6B
I think.

spacedonkey · 13/12/2004 11:37

they seem to think that following instructions is somehow emasculating

my colleague and i had a race to see who could assemble their ikea office chair the fastest

he was beating me and about to start crowing when it transpired he'd put the seat on back to front so when he tilted the seat it tipped him on the floor

Flat packs are a Pink Job in the Dragon household. Unless it gets to the stage where brute force is needed.

TheHollyAndTheTwiglett · 13/12/2004 11:39

women are good at flat pack because we tend to follow instructions one at a time

men on the other hand just get out all there electric tools and think the instructions are for sissys Smile

TumbleflumpDancingBum · 13/12/2004 11:44

I think I need an octopus....Its hard to make it stay up right whilst I'm putting the screws in....that sounds dirty!....Blush

DoesntChristmasDragOn · 13/12/2004 11:45

TumbleflumpDancingBum · 13/12/2004 11:59

My Hands are sore now, wish I did have a electric screw driver....its looking ok but I'm not sure I'm doing it right..

OP posts:
spacedonkey · 13/12/2004 12:01

does your drill have a screwdriver attachment?

Mine does, but it's so bulky I usually just do it by hand anyway

TumbleflumpDancingBum · 13/12/2004 12:06
