Staph skin infection led to sepsis

My 7 year old son is recovering from getting a severe staph aureus skin infection which got into his blood and resulted in sepsis. I'm so worried what will happen when he gets off the antibiotics as his face is showing a new rash bit like a heat rash. Please any advice welcome as the hospital are so dismissive of my concerns and think I'm just anxious

It sounds scary for you. I have no advice but bumping in case anyone with the right knowledge is about. Is he actually still in hospital or at home?

He is at home and having IV antibiotics given at home by community nurse. She did set of Obs which were fine but that's how my son was until he went blue and limp. His temp doesn't show up but right now in this heat and humidity he is saying he is feeling cold and his body feels warm to touch. He is eating and drinking ok. I'm so worried

When was he given the anti biotics?
Is his breathing ok? Is he itchy? Is his voice ok? Is the rash spreading?
Its unlikely but he could be allergic to the antibiotics, might me worth phoning 111.
Obviously if he gets worse A and e

Is he on amoxicillin? Children often get an allergic reaction to this antibiotic which looks like heat rash.

He is on teicoplanin as he is allergic to amoxicillin. At the moment the thermometer shows his temp 36.8/9 but his body feels really warm and he says he feels cold and wants me to close the windows in this heat. I'm worried sick. When I phone hospital they say he is on antibiotics already but I'm thinking maybe another infection going on inside that we can't see.

Breathing ok and actually playing but that's him always ok even when he really isn't inside as proved by the sepsis episode
