my sister works in an outdoor and this evening it got done over. she's only 19 and the other girl who works there is 18. they were on there own when 6 lads came in. they took the till, fags, booze, the safe and the worst thing was that they took her hand bag to. it had her phone, cash cards, driving licence, house keys and christmas money in it.

how could they be so cruel??? my poor sister.

the cheeky buggers had the nerve to phone my mom, from her mobile and say ' we've just done over the outdoor, we've took everything but dont worry we havent hurt them too much'

the police have taken statements and luckily the girls wern't hurt. they managed to press the panic button but it took half an hour for them to respond!!!

Some people are scum and deserve to be castrated with a large blunt instrument covered in barbed wire.

I hope your sister isn't too shaken, poor thing.

Btw - what's an outdoor?

xmashampermunker · 13/12/2004 00:08

Oh no! How unpleasant and scary Sad

I'm really glad they weren't hurt, but really sorry there are such vile people in the world Angry

she works in an off licience, they sell booze and fags mainly. she seems to have had a run of bad luck lately but they do say these things come in 3's (she had a m/c a few weeks ago)

has anyone else ever been in this situation - how will she be feeling and how can i make her feel better????

What outdoor were they working from? Surely the police can trace the moby? Or am I completely naive? Hugs to your sis!

xmashampermunker · 13/12/2004 00:20

I haven't been in this situation, but I would imagine there will be a lot of what ifs going on in her head. Just let her talk if she needs to - hopefully the police will offer victim support too. Especially with a recent m/c - poor thing didn't need this too (not that anyone does!).

Big hugs xxx

I got mugged at knife point 11 yrs ago, to make it worse it was just by where I used to live (very dodgy area tbh). I was offered victim support from the police but declined (perhaps foolishly).

mikeyjon · 13/12/2004 00:34

they've managed to block her mobile - as if the tossers rang my mom!!!!! Angry

she works at vitoria wine in sheldon, birmingham.

i doubt she'll take the councilling although she ought to, shes to stubborn. shes had so much bad luck lately.

my dad doesnt think that she should carry on working there anymore. what do you think?

I wouldn't feel happy woking there if it were me. Some things aren't worth the extra cash.
