argh!

I spent the afternoon making ds a wrestling mask out of an old cardigan so my creative juices are exhausted

you could go down the christmas candle hats made of bog rolls route that thecattlearemerloting was doing

antler hats made of cardboard?

Ooh Chatee, wish I'd seen that thread - that sounds good. Kid - Advent Candle hat looks good, but was quite fiddly.

Did think of making a xmas parcel hat. Box covered with wrapping paper and tied up with a bow. But DS1 was not happy about the bow Grin

thanks for your help. (found that thread Chatee) I like the santa hats, the candle ones sound good too, maybe we can give them the choice.

did you see the reindeer?
i am a playleader at an after-school club and the years 5/6 enjoyed making the reindeer-drawing round their friends feet and hand painting the antlers instead of drawing them was really good fun
hope you have a good time...

Get some paper plates and cut a circle out of each one leaving a piece at the front (so you don't cut out the whole circle,) fold it so the piece sticks up and you can decorate it. The piece left should sit on your head (if not get bigger plates!).

pudding hats ...
plain white band about 10 cm deep paint it brown, print red & different brown circles on it for fruit, enclose top with white crepe paper, stick holly on top. for y5 this coulkd be hand-drawn, coloured and cut out.
