There you go - slapped.

What do you do now and when do you finish? Think practicle

Beauregard · 23/02/2008 20:19

Thanks

I am a support worker(NHS)and finish march 31st.

I have had interviews and have been very proactive about the situation but because i can only work part time and afternoons/evenings it puts employers off as they want flexibility.

ivykaty44 · 23/02/2008 20:28

Can only work afternoons and eve - no no no You can work afternoons and eve, this is two thirds of the working day and that is excellent and flexable - think positive.

Do you want to stay with NHS or move to other style work?

Would you do agency work in the intrim?

Beauregard · 23/02/2008 20:36

I would prefer nhs but don't mind too much to go private ,i just so need a job (my money buys anything we need plus food)

Trouble is in my line of work they want you to do mornings and sleep in shifts on a rota.
Despite noone wanting the hours i work i reckon it has/will put employers off me.

I have another interview monday and im getting worried that it will put them off.

The interview i had on thursday resulted in them only offering me relief work because of my lack of flexibility.

Sorry that didn't really answer your question.

I would rather continue in this sort of work as i love it qnd it is all i know.
Although i have applied for a ward clerk position as the hours are perfect for me.

Well good luck for Monday and I shall think positive for you. Is ward clerk something you have tried before, or is it the unknown?

Good luck

Beauregard · 24/02/2008 20:37
