Bedroom for a 2yr old. Economy inspiration ideas here please!

I have very little creative ability and am about to embark on decorating a larger bedroom in our house for our 2yr old DD.
She said she wants yellow walls, so we've bought some nice pale yellow paint. Have also purchased a tin of orangeish furniture paint and some lion handles to do up a horrible wardrobe.

Any suggestions welcome! Wall sticker ideas? Cheap accessories?

Tell me about your 2 year old's room!

If you search for 'stikarounds' on Ebay you can get them much cheaper than B&Q or other places.

I'm getin carried away now but if you have an Ikea near you their lights look lovely in bedrooms i think.

We do, and was thinking would go there and get her a few bits and pieces... small chair maybe.

DS has a yellow room - I've gone from lovely multicoloured curtains that blend (also yellow in there) with printed clowns/animals on and matching bed set to a "space" theme - IE bin, home-made canvases and bed set.

I find plain walls and just changing the "stuff" is far easier and cheaper.

Go to somewhere like Dunelm Mill, get a blank canvas (£2ish) and some material of your choice - cover canvas in material = bespoke artwork for the room
