Converting the shed into a playhouse for children

I'd like to convert a largish shed in our garden into a playhouse for ds. It needs the roof refelting and a good clean but is empty and unused. I was thinking of painting the interior walls a nice mid blue, getting a big rug for the floor (cheapo from ikea as it's going to get a bit muddy even if it is only used in summer) and a load of cushions. It would be so nice for him and visiting friends to play in!

Any other ideas on what I could do with it/ tips etc

Why not stain/paint the outside?

Put pots or window boxes (grow flowers or veggies)

Remember to hoover out the spiders regularily

We have done this at my Mum's she had a spare garden shed (has a very large garage but not wide enough for a car)

We have painted the shed pale yellow and put down a carpet and decorated with flower fairy (choose design of choice )stickers around put curtains up at the window.

She is loves playing in it.

You could probabaly get a cheap off-cut of carpet?

Argos is good for cheap rugs too.

Let ds paint the inside?
