Turin shroud has been proved to be an extremely early photographic image, the shroud was treated with silver nitrate, just like photographic paper hung up to receive the imprint of the actual corpse of some unfortunate man with the same wounds as Christ.

There's been a suggestion that the Shroud was a "photograph" by Leonardo da Vinci, and that he used a crucified body and his own face. I'd like to know if that were true.
