At What age do you see dimples? Or are they there from birth?

I have dimples. Ds is 3 months and I was wondering if they show later or if he was going to have them, would they have shown from birth?......stupid question but my mind wonders on grey days.

i have dimples, ds1 no dimples, ds2 dimples as soon as he was born, it was the first thing one of the midwife's said.

I know a little boy that had the biggest dimples from birth, absolutely gorgeous

One of my daughters we noticed a small one from about 6 months, it was only noticeable when she smiled big cheesy grins. It has got deeper with age, it is now a dimple that shows with the smallest movement of her mouth

I love dimples, wish I had them

I have big dimples, DS has incredible ones. His dimples were visible from about 3 months old, when he started to give really big grins

Dd has dimples when she smiles, I think i noticed them from when she was a couple of months old when she started smiling. Cute!

LittleMissBliss · 15/02/2008 14:35

I don't think ds is smiling to his full potential yet.... so we'll have to wait and see. I have a little dimple when i half smile and deep ones that really show when i really grin!

The first thing my mum said about me when she woke up from her general anaesthetic after the CS was 'oooh, she's got dimples!' So I think I had them from birth.

ds1 had a dimple on one side from birth.
