Dealing with my partner’s narcissistic A-hole of a sister.

Long story short(ish) she has always had an issue with me and always treated him horrendously. Had my babies last year and she has became even worse, now having an issue with my family who have nothing wrong apart from love, care and make an effort with our babies. She favours one over the other, expects us to beg her to come see them, she had a go at my partner because we took them to see Santa and she was at home alone! Threatened to return my sons 1st birthday present because she wasn’t getting her own way, she expects my partner to bow down to her every demand and if no he’s nasty, everything is his fault, he has to take accountability for his actions etc etc etc.

She has been nothing but negative about our relationship, when she was told we were engaged, offer accepted on our house, announced both pregnancies all she cared about was ‘who already knows’, no congratulations, nothing!

Now she is very good at putting on a show infront of people (she even still does it infront of me sometimes, although she is beginning to slip up) but she treats my partner horrifically, it’s caused him severe anxiety and stress. Their dad is the same and my partner has recently cut ties with him which has alleviated some stress off us both but how do we deal with his sister? Other than my partners mental health my priority is the babies, I don’t want her having anything to do with them at all as she’s a nasty vile so and so, I’ve told my partner this and he understands my reasons. He is slowly coming round to her behaviour as he’s been manipulated by her for so long, he always made excuses for her actions until I put my foot down which did result in a huge argument between us, but it done some good.

Anyone give any advice or share any experiences of this please? TIA

I’m searching for where you demonstrate any kind of understanding that your partner doesn’t seem to have a spine?
