Can someone tell me how to turn a cot into a bed?

We have this one but I've lost the instructions.

I'm guessing it isn't as simple as just removing the bars at the side?

It looks a bit like the one I used to have. If you take the sides off, I think the head and foot will both come apart into two sections. The top section is the properly finished one, so you then had to separate the bed base from the bottom piece, and attach it to the top piece instead IYSWIM? And then store the bottom pieces and the sides somewhere safe for later children...

Ah okay thankyou, that seems right. I was confused as the top part didn't seem to have 'legs' but it does, it's just hard to tell with looking.

I'm planning to use the rails as clothes airers, not sure about any more children!
